Mr. Chandrachud has officially proposed the second senior-most judge of the Supreme court as his
Guwahati: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress supremo, Mamata Banerjee landed in Guwahati and straight-away headed to Kamakhya Devalaya to offer prayers at the Shakti Peeth.
Tied-up with multiple out-reach programmes, with the aim to expand her party, Mamata Banerjee has formulated many steps to make a mark in the Northeast region.

Mamata Banerjee was welcomed by the District Administration of Guwahati (Metropolitan) after which she went to Kamakhya Temple.
Banerjee offered prayers at Ma Kamakhya Temple amid tight security. It is expected that the TMC supremo will be heading to Shillong to meet her new team after completing her 'marg darshan' at the Devalaya.
Banerjee plans to make her visits more frequent as the two prominent Northeastern states – Meghalaya and Tripura, prepares itself for the upcoming polls in the next one-and-a-half-years.
Banerjee’s decision to reach out to each and every state of the country ahead of the impending polls for 2022, will help the Trinamool Congress party expand its branches.
