    CM Vigilance finds new evidence against suspended DIG Raunak Ali's foreign tours

    Guwahati: In the latest development, Chief Minster's Special Vigilance Cell stated that they had found new pieces of evidence regarding the suspended Deputy Inspector (DIG) of Police, Rounak Ali Hazarika's foreign tours expenses.





    As per police information, Raunak Ali has extracted money for his foreign tours through cow syndicate, illegal cow trade in Assam. The Cell further reported that they had uncovered several details concerning his source of money.





    The Cell informed that the suspended officer has not only invested his money in parlours but further invested the illegally earned money over various other establishments.

    An official of the Cell stated that they had received information regarding his source of money after reviewing Ali's bank transactions details.





    The official further stated that the owners of the establishments where Ali has invested would also be called for questioning.
