department.
Sangeeta Datta, the key
accused in the horrifying Guwahati child abuse case, faced another
interrogation session on Monday.
The Child Welfare Committee
(CWC) named child rights campaigner Miguel Das Queah as a Support Person for
the victims of the Guwahati abuse case on Tuesday.
Miguel, who has been
vociferous in the child abuse issue since locals filed a complaint against a
renowned doctor pair, will continue to oversee legal representation for the
juvenile victims until they are rehabilitated.

It should be mentioned that
on the day of the incident, Miguel Das informed the public via Facebook that he
had been receiving complaints for a long time about the doctor couple who
habitually tied their adoptive daughter on their balcony in the sweltering
summer heat.
He stated that after
receiving the allegations, he asked the witnesses to submit a report, but no
one was prepared to come forward because they were afraid because the doctor
pair used to threaten them.
