The incident unfolded when Priyanka Tamuli Phukan, a teacher at Cotton collegiate government h.s. school allegedly hit Bhargab with her i20 vehicle (registration number AS01BY0044) and fled the scene.

Bhargab, a newlywed from Sarupeta, tragically lost his life on the spot during the accident, which occurred near Dighalipukhuri on Saturday.
