    Shocking developments have
emerged in the death of Sub-Inspector (SI) Junmoni Rabha after an eyewitness
reported that the Alto car in which the SI was discovered dead had been parked
    for a long period.

These admissions were made by someone who claimed to
have been present at the scene during the occurrence. According to him, the
Alto was parked at the time, and the truck came from behind and hit the car.

"I was coming from Guwahati, and it was around 1:30 am," he
claimed of the incident. I began to feel sleepy just before reaching
Jakhalabandha in Nagaon district. So I decided to take a break for a while. I
got out of my car when I noticed a shop open at that hour. At the same moment,
I noticed an Alto car parked nearby. When I returned from washing my face, I
saw that a truck had come from the front and hit the Alto. I also witnessed a
boy in black pants and shoes flee from the Alto car, and the truck driver also
fled the scene. I detected a threat. I was afraid of approaching the car. But
when the Jakhalabandha IC arrived at the scene after being told of the
occurrence, I proceeded to the accident site. But the IC instructed me to leave
the area. And I did as he instructed. When the automobile was being removed, I
noticed that there was a body inside. Since I noticed it, the Alto had been
parked for at least 15 minutes. It was the truck that had come from the front
and purposefully hit it. There is no doubt about that."

Earlier today, Junmoni's mother accused the Nagaon police chief of
"murdering" her daughter while the latter was investigating a
    possible criminal conspiracy.

"The SP and DSP....all are involved in something big and Junmoni
might have come to know about their malicious intentions, that is why they
killed her!," Junmoni's weeping mother said.
