Digital Desk : A new controversy has erupted between singers Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon. It took centre stage during AP Dhillon's concert in Chandigarh where he accused Diljit of blocking him on Instagram.
Guwahati: A fire broke out at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMCH)’s Pediatric ward in Dibrugarh.
Reportedly, 12 children were in the ward, aged between six months and 10 years. However, no causalities were reported in the incident.
As per the report, the incident occurred due to a short circuit in a ventilator monitor received under the PM-CARES fund.

However, it was quickly controlled by the staff using a fire extinguisher kept in the room.
The hospital authority moved all of the patients to another pediatric ward on campus after the incident.
AMCH Superintendent Prasanta Dihingia said, “There were 12 children in the ward; however, no causalities were reported.”
“The affected ward has six ventilators out of which two were received under the PM-CARES fund. But, unfortunately, one of the PM-CARES ventilators had caught fire.” added Dihingia.
Till now, the cause of the blaze is not known. The fire and power departments were investigating the incident, reports said.
Additionally, AMCH has already initiated an internal enquiry and requested the Assam government to investigate the incident.
