Digital Desk: Following incessant monsoon rains, severe flooding in Assam has caused over 137,842 people to be relocated across eleven districts, including Kamrup and Golaghat. The most recent report from the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) states that as of June 26, 2024, 487 villages are under water, and the issue is being made worse by the Kushiyara River exceeding its danger mark in the Karimganj district.
