Digital Desk: The two co-conspirators of Bondona Kalita, the main suspect in the horrifying double murder case in Noonmati, Guwahati, have been sent to judicial custody by the court.

Arup Deka and Dhanti Deka were released from police custody on Saturday after two days and were brought before a court in Guwahati.

The Guwahati police found that the primary suspect Bondona Kalita was preparing to murder a further member of her in-laws' family as they were investigating into the twin murder case. Police announced the shocking news, but for reasons of sensitivity, they chose not to name the person who was in Bandana’s target.

During the process of his interrogation, Arup Deka revealed to the police that Bondona had given him Rs 2 lakh in exchange for his assistance in the murder.

The machete used in the twin cold-blooded murder case was sent for forensic analysis on February 24. During search activities that were started on Thursday, the Guwahati police were able to recover the sharp machete from Bondajan beel.
It should be noted that Bondona Kalita, along with her two accomplices Arup and Dhanti, is the main suspect in the murders of her husband and mother-in-law.

The mother-son duo was killed by the trio, who then chopped and stored their body parts in a refrigerator for three days before going on a killing spree and disposing of the body parts in the neighbouring state of Meghalaya.
