actress, presented her with the award.
She has worked and
volunteered with nationally and internationally recognized non-governmental
organisations (NGOs) such as The Federation of Indian Animal Protection
Organisations (FIAPO), Peta India, PFA, and many others.
Saubhagya has always shown sympathy and
kindness to stray animals. She began fostering in her early teens and spent the
most of her non-working days volunteering at animal shelters, orphanages, and
old age homes while working in the human resources department of a major
international airline.
Following her love, she completed an
animal communication and psychology diploma with Elmira Strange at the
University of Whales in the United Kingdom and with Celtic Learning Solution at
Akshaya Kawle in Mumbai.
Inspired by Jo-Ann McArthur, she became
a VEGAN and has participated in several awareness campaigns and activist
events, as well as rescuing and vaccinating over 800 strays in the country
without the use of any contributions. Saubhagya's mission is to be a voice for
the voiceless and to educate compassion above harshness.
