    Digital Desk: Following an official bulletin from the RWFC, Guwahati (Regional Weather Forecasting Centre) on July 28, Assam and the other Northeastern States are predicted to have heavy to severe rainfall with thunderstorms during the following few days.

    Thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected in most of the Northeast, including Assam, on July 28.

    As the weather pattern continues through July 29, severe rains with thunder and lightning continue in several portions of Northeast India.

    The rainfall pattern will continue on July 30, with most regions in Assam and neighbouring states expected to receive heavy to extremely heavy rain, according to the prediction projection.

    "IMD Guwahati has issued a forecast for Thunderstorms with Lightning and light rain which is very likely to occur at isolated places over Kamrup Metropolitan district in the next 3 hours," the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) stated in a public interest message. ASDMA has stated the public interest."

    Furthermore, Assam is expected to receive severe rain on August 1st, along with other states in Northeast India.
