    Digital Desk: In a heart-wrenching development related to the recent Bihar train accident that claimed the lives of four individuals and leftover seventy others injured, two of the deceased have been identified as residents of Assam's Sadiya. The victims, a mother and her minor daughter were on their way back from Nepal via New Jalpaiguri when the catastrophic train accident unfolded in Bihar.


    The deceased passengers have been identified as 33-year-old Usha Bhandari and her 8-year-old daughter, Aakriti Bhandari. Their sudden demise has plunged their family and the entire Sadiya community into a state of shock and mourning.


    The tragic news reached the family at 6 a.m., revealing that the accident occurred at around 10 p.m. the previous night. Deepak Bhandari, a relative of the victims, shared, "The family of four included my brother-in-law, my big sister, and her two daughters. Their names are Usha Bhandari, Aditi Bhandari, Aakriti Bhandari, and Deepak Bhandari. My sister got married in Nepal and was living with her husband in Delhi. They were returning from Nepal when the accident happened. We had been in contact with them before they boarded the train, but after that, we received no communication."


    The bodies of the deceased are currently being brought to their home state from Bihar. The Chief Minister of Assam has expressed profound grief and offered condolences to the bereaved families affected by this horrific train accident.
