New Realm of Congress: Angkita Dutta as Assam Pradesh Youth Congress President

Guwahati: Congress in Assam has made some significant highlights lately. The Indian Youth Congress (IYC) Thursday appointed Angkita Dutta as the new president of the Assam Pradesh Youth Congress (APYC).

Angkita has been designated as the president of APYC taking into account her assistance for the organization, Indian Youth Congress (IYC) president Srinivas BV stated.

Additionally, five National Students' Union of India (NSUI) candidates secured seats in Guwahati University PGSU elections 2021.

Both of these achievements have turned out to be productive for the Congress party. As the new APYC president, Angkita Dutta endures the capacity to build positive outcomes for youth and youth-serving agencies.

In an era when everyone in the state possibly forgot about the power and consistency of Congress leaders in the state, Angkita Dutta has come up as a face for changing winds and surpassing competitors in the political scenario.

The 33-year-old leader is the daughter of former APCC president Late Anjan Dutta. Anjan Dutta had contested the last Assam Assembly election from the Amguri constituency.

Being brought up in an environment surrounded by political discussions and guidance, Angkita Dutta's leadership would turn out to be a ray of hope for the upcoming youths for bringing a true democratic turnover in the realm of politics in Assam.

Can the newly elected candidates from NUSI in the Guwahati university elections be able to look out for Angkita Dutta as a promising leader with excellence? Would Dutta be able to initiate the voices of youth for social/system change in Assam?

There is a political trend following up in Assam where many Congress leaders shifted to the ruling party. Can there be a reason behind this shift of not having a promising leader in power and guidance? If so, will Dutta be able to change the scenario of Assam's youths perspective towards bringing up an effective party back into power?

Dutta being a dynamic youth leader, would be able to shape the future youth leaders for defending rights and equity for the state's people.

Being a leader in power and being a leader of voices that oppose are entirely different. Raising voices for carrying the truth and actuality needs more strength and knowledge. As the new chief of Assam Pradesh Youth Congress, Dutta would likely bring a change and inspire youth leaders to be youth-oriented, collaborative, enabling the improvement of positive outcomes.

Dutta has served as the vice-president of APYC and finally took her wings ahead for taking a complete charge of being the president of APYC lately. Under her leadership and thought, Assam Pradesh Youth Congress strengthened a hope to transform the political scenario.
