Assam: Ruthless parents, lacking money sold their own child in Arunachal for Rs 7K

Parents sold their children in Arunachal for Rs 7,000...

Digital Desk: In a recent significant shift of events in the state, a new heinous crime has surfaced. Parents are revered, and their love for their children is the purest form of love. However, in a recent incident, parents abandoned their son and sold their kid for Rs 7K.

A five-year-old child was sold for Rs 7,000 in Arunachal Pradesh by his parents. Hakim Ali and Moina Begum of Rangapara 1 South Village were recognised as the culprits. They sold their son Samin Ali to the Arunachal people in Dhirang.

As per the parents, they stated that they had not sold their child, but they have made a deal or we can say they handed over the Child to someone in return for money, and after getting the money back, they will bring back their son again.

They said that they sold their son because they lacked the money to return to Rangapara. The victims were apprehended and turned over to Rangapara police.

The husband and wife had already sold another child in Balipara. Hakim Ali and Moina Begum are accused of having children and selling them to others. It's been suspected of other party being involved to assist them in committing the heinous crime.

Looking at the opposite side of the story, the deed was done solely for financial gain, as unemployment and poverty have afflicted the poor, making such crimes all too common. The nation's rapid increase in poverty and lack of education is giving birth to a slew of other horrible acts.
