Sonam Wangchuk, a prominent scientist and innovator from the Leh-Ladakh region, received this year's 20th prize.
Wangchuk, who received the prize, expressed his gratitude to the media and stated that tribal groups are preserving India's true culture.
The award was presented at the Bodofa Cultural Project in Chandmari, Kokrajhar, during a ceremony.
The main guest was Prashant Jyoti Baruah, Executive Editor of the Assam Tribune newspaper.
The event was attended by BTR chairman Pramod Boro, cabinet minister Urkhao Gwra Brahma, Bodo Sahitya Sabha president Surath Narzary, ABSU president Dipen Boro, and others.
