The incident occurred on Thursday when biscuits were given to students instead of the usual rice. Following this, several children reported feeling unwell, prompting immediate concern among parents and school staff.
District commissioner Nabadeep Pathak, accompanied by officials from the education department, visited the school around 11:30 AM on Friday to assess the situation and launch an investigation. Outraged parents demanded accountability for the food safety oversight. Medical teams were dispatched to the school to treat affected children and ensure their swift recovery.
