    Two accused flee from Covid Centre
    Digital Desk: In a shocking incident, two accused fled from Nagaon Covid Centre. The accused have been identified as Saddam Hussain from Dhing Solguri and one Pinky Saikia of Kampur Lalung village.

    The two accused arrested by the police were found positive at the Nagaon Civil Hospital.

    But the two accused managed to escape the lax police action deployed at Nagaon Civil Hospital.

    The two accused were admitted to the covid centre at the Nagaon Civil Hospital who later on managed to flee.

    Earlier, on Saturday evening, the anti-narcotics unit of Nagaon police allegedly shot at a former general secretary of the Nagaon college student union and an AASU activist.

    Kirti Kamal Bora, the injured adolescent, was recognised.

    In an interview with the media, the injured Kirti Kamal Bora revealed that he went out in the evening to fetch some medicines for his mother. When he returned home, he discovered some police officers reportedly abusing a man in his neighbourhood.

    The police are yet to investigate the incident.
