Digital Desk: A telephonic conversation between an ailing father and his estranged son has gone viral on social media platforms. Following the viral phone call, the citizens are condemning the son as he has been accused of ignoring his father's last wish to meet him and his family.
Pratap Chandra Bordoloi, an elderly man from Jorhat called his son Dr Analjyoti Bordoloi reportedly in November 2024. Dr Bordoloi, a Guwahati-based physician living in Bhangagarh, has not been in touch with his father since 2006.

Pratap Chandra Bordoloi breathed his last on Thursday without getting the chance to see his face.
His son, Dr Bordoloi now breaks his silence after the massive controversy and says that his father threw him, his sister, and his mother out of their house in 2006.
Reacting to the recent social media backlashes against him, Dr Bordoloi gave an opposite version saying that his father had abandoned them 19 years ago. There was no relation between him and his father so the question of ignoring his father's wish should not arise. He added that his mother, a retired school teacher was a victim of domestic violence.
He further said that despite his deceased father's rude behaviour towards them, they are performing all the rituals like others. He said that his mother, who is suffering from age-related ailments, is also following all the rituals as she lost her husband.
