    Forces (CAPFs) and Assam Rifles troops will be able to register online and
    receive residential housing through a webpage that will be unveiled by Union
    Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday.

    eAwas portal, according to a statement from the Union home ministry, was done
    to improve the "Housing Satisfaction Ratio (HSR)" among paramilitary
    personnel, bring transparency, and guarantee the execution of the amended
    policy for housing allocation.

    the portal was created in accordance with the General Pool Residential
    Accommodation system (eSampada). The ability to contact applicants through SMS

    According to the statement, inter-force allotment will
    maximise the use of the available housing stock and raise the HSR. "The
    portal has a provision that any CAPF personnel can apply for the same empty
    property online if a house of any particular Force is not assigned for any
