    Assam Chief Minister claims that investments worth Rs 92,000 crore are in the works.

    Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said on Friday that projects worth Rs 92,000
    crore are being implemented in the state's public and private sectors at
    various levels.

    the majority of the issues expressed by businesses during a meeting had been
    resolved.

    investment of Rs 92,000 cr is at various stages of implementation in both
    public and private sector enterprises in the state," Mr Sarma said in a
    series of tweets at the end of a two-day session with business leaders and their
    representatives here. "I'm happy to report that the majority of issues
    mentioned during the engagement with representatives from 62 industries have
    been handled," he added. The state's industrial boom, according to the
    chief minister, would accelerate, resulting in more job prospects.



    Bimal Borah, the Minister of Industries and Commerce, who
    was also present at the meeting, stated that the meetings with business people
    will assist assure the industrial sector's smooth progress.



    Mr Borah wrote on Twitter that such interactive sessions
    between entrepreneurs and the government will "certainly lead to more
    robust and seamless industrial progress and development in the state," in
    addition to playing a significant role in the quick resolution of issues and
    implementation of recommendations.
