Assam boy develops a 'theft-proof' electronic bicycle, know the specialties here

He's also added a fingerprint feature on his bike for added security.

Digital Desk: Samrat Nath of Karimganj district has designed a "theft-proof" Electronic bicycle (E-bike) by combing modern detectors with location monitoring technologies. Lithium-ion batteries recycled from old laptops powered this e-bike.

This e-bike has a range of 60 kilometres and a top speed of 40 kilometres per hour on a single charge. "To avoid being robbed, I designed the smarty e-bike. It comes with a lot of security features. If someone tries to steal my bike, a message will appear on my smartphone and the bike's theft alarm will begin to sound," Nath said.

"I can operate this bike from anywhere in the globe thanks to an application I created specifically for it. In this bike, I installed another device that may be used in any other electric bike. We can control it from anywhere on the planet and track its real-time location. It is completely safe," he added.

He's also added a fingerprint feature on his bike for added security.

Nath, a Technology student at Assam Rifles ITI, who dreams of creating a bike of his own, stated that the idea to design such an E-bike came to his mind in 2016 when he was studying in class eight. "Making an e-bike was a childhood goal of mine. Finally, my wish has come true,  and I could finish it in four years after learning Coding," he said.
