    Assam CID arrests a man from Uttar Pradesh for impersonating a Crime Branch Cop
    CID immediately registered the case and arrested the accused after getting such information.

    Digital Desk:     Guwahati: Assam Police CID arrested one
    Upendra Pandey from Uttar Pradesh on Monday concerning an extortion case.
     
    According to the CID, Pandey, who is originally from
    Uttar Pradesh but now resides in Beltola, Guwahati, has been impersonating a
    Crime Branch Inspector and extorting money from suspects / accused in various
    CID cases under the guise of being able to forgive them by persuading top CID
    personnel.

    CID immediately registered
    the case and arrested the accused after getting such information.
