    Assam Government School Teachers will be trained by Guwahati Faculty

    The state education department has issued show cause notes due to the poor performance of government institutions. According to reports, notices have been given to schools with a zero success rate in the recently released Class 10th board exams.

    Digital Desk: bold"> The Assam government has signed a memorandum of understanding with the
    Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, within which Assam government school
    teachers will be trained by IIT Guwahati faculty members. The government made
    this decision after reviewing the Assam HSC 2022 results, which showed that several
    schools had a zero pass rate. According to the state education department, over
    100 government schools have a zero or ten percent pass rate.



     Minister Ranoj Pegu announced that government
    school teachers who teach English, Math, and Science would be trained as part
    of this special training program.In order to improve the quality of education
    and performance, the Assam government is also working on implementing some
    changes in the course curriculum. Ranoj Pegu addressed the media and said
    through this training program, not only students but the teachers would also
    benefit.

    Guwahati, stated in a statement that IIT-G faculty members will identify areas
    that need to be rectified and made better. This training programme would
    involve activities such as quizzes, mentoring, and other curricular activities
    to ensure that teachers have a better comprehension of the material.
