The Assam Government has granted Mishra permission to transfer from the Assam-Meghalaya Cadre to the Bihar Cadre and has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Digital Desk: Assistant Inspector General of Police (Sports), Anand Mishra has received a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the state government allowing him to transfer from the Assam Segment of the Assam-Meghalaya Cadre Joint to the Bihar Cadre.
According to reports, Mishra had submitted an application for deputation to the IPS Bihar Cadre due to extreme personal hardship.
The Assam Government has granted Mishra permission to transfer from the Assam-Meghalaya Cadre to the Bihar Cadre and has issued a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
The notice from the Assam Government stated, “With reference to the subject cited above, I am directed to enclose herewith a copy of letter mentioned under reference regarding petition submitted by Shri Anand Mishra, IPs (AM: 2011), Assistant Inspector General of Police (Sports), Assam praying for Inter Cadre Deputation to Bihar Cadre on ground of extreme personal hardship and to inform you that the State Government has NO OBJECTION towards allowing Shri Anand Mishra, IPs (AM:2011) to proceed on Inter-cadre deputation from the Assam Segment of the Assam-Meghalaya Cadre Joint to Bihar Cadre as per extant Rules and guidelines.”

Anand Mishra is an IPS officer from the 2011 batch.
He was born on June 1, 1989, and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal.
He made the decision to become an IPS officer in the eighth grade.
He started preparing for a government position after graduating. He also took the West Bengal Civil Service Exam from 2005 to 2011.
The super cop passed the UPSC test in 2010 and was hired as an IPS officer from the 2011 batch for the Assam-Meghalaya Cadre. He completed his IPS training in Meghalaya between 2013 and 2017.
