    Assam: Lady Cop carries 7-month-old baby to work, wins applause

    According to reports, Sachita's husband is a jawan in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) stationed outside of Assam.

    Digital Desk: A 27-year-old woman constable in
    Assam has won applause as she was seen carrying her 7-month-old baby to
    her workplace.



    The lady
    constable, identified as Sachita Rani Roy, posted in Silchar PI Court in the
    Cachar district of the state, was spotted walking into her office with her baby
    in a carrier. Roy, now that her maternity leave has ended, arrives at work with
    her baby at 10:30 a.m. every day and stays till the day's work is completed.



    Her leave
    request was denied, so she was forced to take her infant with her. The
    27-year-old further stated that there was no one at home to look after the
    child.



    "I
    don't have someone at home to look after my kid, so I'm forced to bring her
    with me." "It's uncomfortable at times, but I don't have any other
    choice," Roy explained.



    According to
    reports, Sachita's husband is a jawan in the Central Reserve Police Force
    (CRPF) stationed outside of Assam.



    Roy, a
    resident of Silchar's Malugramarea, expressed her gratitude to her co-workers
    and the police department for being so helpful.



    Meanwhile,
    talking to the media, she explained, "I leave a little early since it's
    tough for the infant to stay with me all day."



    The brave
    woman police officer has received praise from all sides for her dedication to
    her duty.



    Roy further
    added, "I have applied for more leave, but until it is allowed, I will
    continue my duty in this way."
