    The state's Department of Cultural Affairs has reportedly begun making plans for the initiative's successful implementation.

    According to a press release, Assam has set a "target to cover 80 lakh rural and urban households, state-run institutions, private entities, schools, and commercial establishments as part of the events organised by the Union Ministry of Culture to commemorate the country's 75th anniversary of independence.

    Moreover, for the production of national flags, the Panchayat and Rural Development Department has enlisted self-help organisations.

    Additionally, it stated that it would set up booths at the district and village levels so that people could buy tricolours close to where they lived.

    To ensure widespread popular engagement in the "Har Ghar Tiranga" programme, the state government will also launch major awareness campaigns.

    According to the press release, the effort aims to arouse people's sense of patriotism and raise their awareness of the national flag.

    With the help of the public, 20 crore tricolours will be raised across the nation as part of this campaign.
