Dimapur: The Nagaland police on Tuesday registered a case against the couple who had gained notoriety by brandishing automatic assault rifles during their marriage ceremony in Dimapur on Saturday evening, reports said.
The couple in question, Bohoto Kiba, the son of the Kilo Kilonser (home minister) of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Unification (NSCN-U), and his wife, had brandished military-grade assault rifles during their wedding ceremony on Saturday. The photos, which were circulated online on WhatsApp groups, caused ‘shock’ and ‘awe’ among the netizens.

In the shocking pics, the newlyweds were seen posing with the war-grade weapons, AK 56 and M16, while flashing smiles for the camera persons.
Sources have revealed that even the guests were shocked at the open display of weapons at the wedding and jaws dropped on the floor at the sheer audacity of the bride and groom, who seemed to be having a gala time displaying the shiny guns.
