reconstructed Shwahid Ranjit Barpujari Boys' Hostel.

hostel can accommodate 126 people and has 60 rooms with twin and triple beds.
The six-storey recently built structure with contemporary boarding house
amenities. The top two levels of the hostel will house international students
and research scholars, while the remaining floors will accommodate
post-graduate students.

hostel, formerly known as the 2nd Mess in the former Cotton College, was built
in 1913 by the college administration at the time of British rule.

Fraternity has applauded the university administration's effort. It is
significant to mention that the hostel's construction was finished in just 2.5
years, despite the global Covid19 pandemic.
