Girl feels ashamed to attend school for being kidnapped and raped
“Though she has returned back home, she is now ashamed to go to school…how will she face the students and teachers? She couldn’t appear for her examination. The government says ‘Beti bachao Beti padhao’…how will allow our daughters, sisters and wife to step out of the house if such activities take place,” said father of the victim.
The father added, “The girl said that she was kidnapped and raped by Ainuddin and his associates. He is a married and characterless person. Ainuddin is absconding now….the police is also not taking any steps to arrest him. It seems there is a secret understanding between him and the police.”
