BSF Jawans continue duty as Indo-Bangla border despite massive flood
As per the latest report, Kushiyar River in Karimganj district is following the above the normal water level at the river embankments and the border roads. Tackling the floods, the BSF personnel are continuing with their duties just like normal days. They are using waterproof gumboots instead of their regular ones for doing so.
Around 3 km area in the Lakhibazar is under the water. Sources also informed that as the river in the region is flowing above the margin, several BSF camps were destroyed in the border area. Camps were shifted to a nearby local school, BSF source informs.
