    Kaziranga National Park Witnesses Record Number of Tourists in FY 2024-25
    A total of 4,06,564 tourists visited Kaziranga during this tourism season. Of these, 17,693 were foreign tourists. 

    Digital Desk: Assam's Kaziranga National Park has witnessed a record number of tourists during the 2024-25 tourism season. The park is now preparing to face the upcoming monsoon and floods as this year’s tourism activities have come to an end.

    A total of 4,06,564 tourists visited Kaziranga during this tourism season. Of these, 17,693 were foreign tourists. 

    The total revenue collected from tourism accounts to Rs. 10,90,89,389 (over 10 crore 90 lakh). 

    Meanwhile, the Kaziranga National Park authorities will implement new policies for elephant safaris and jeep safaris from the next tourism season. The park authorities have indicated that they will be particularly strict regarding private elephant safaris.

    The arrival of many distinguished and legendary personalities gave Kaziranga a unique experience this season. 

    From cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar to Mukesh Ambani and several other foreign delegates of Advantage Assam 2.0 visited the world heritage site this season.  

    Besides Kaziranga’s Burhapahar, Bagori, Kohora, and Agoratoli, the Panbari Bird View Point provided tourists with wonderful joy.
