    Bihu" in 2019.

    The Assam Chief Minister
was addressing at the flyover's opening ceremony in Arya Nagar, close to

    The Maligoan overpass is
about four kilometres long, according to CM Sarma. After Bohag Bihu, we intend
to make it accessible to the general public.

    The CM added that the
Guwahati flyover at Zoo Road, which is now under development, will be finished
before the Bohag Bihu in 2024.

    He continued by saying,
"We have some major ideas. I want to construct a flyover that will stretch
six kilometres from Handique College to Bamunimaidam. The construction won't
start until the flyovers over Maligaon and Zoo Road are finished.

    CM Sarma provided more
details about his plans when he remarked, "A flyover will be built in
front of Cycle Factory. Additionally, after a year and a half, the bridge
between Guwahati and North Guwahati will be finished.

    The Palasbari to
Suwalkuchi flyover will be built starting in 2019. Additionally, a flyover will
appear at Baihata Chariali. Additionally, construction of the Narangi to Kuruwa
flyover would start soon, he said.

    The Assam Chief Minister
also presented city plans for a second ropeway. We intend to construct a
ropeway connecting Khanapara with the airport in Borjhar, he declared.

    The Assam government,
according to CM Sarma, has given the populace 3,000 water connections. We are
hoping to expand the number to 10,000 this year, he said.

    "With the aid of
JICA, we will provide water connections in every home by 2023. We hope to
supply water through both of the plans by 2024," he added.
