Guwahati : AIUDF MLA from Hailakandi constituency, Anwar Hussain on April 29th 2019 accused Prakash Kashyap, Officer on Special Duty (OSD) attached with Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal of running a “syndicate”.
“Chief Minister’s OSD Kashyap is running a syndicate. This has been informed to me by the Cachar ASP himself,” alleged the AIUDF MLA.
He further added, “I am neither afraid of speaking the truth and nor I fear the OSD. I don’t care if the OSD lodges a complaint against me. I am ready to divulge all the details at the court.”
The legislator said that one Manoj Talukdar, working at the Chief Minister’s Office, is a close aide of Kashyap and is engaged in collecting money.
The MLA also slammed at the Bharatiya Janata Party over the discrepancies at the recently held APDCL recruitment examination. “The Chief Minister should take this matter seriously,” he said.

The MLA also trained guns at Assam Forest Minister Parimal Suklabaidya, accusing the later of poor work responsibility and instead work as a legislator instead. “He misguides the Chief Minister. He has failed as a minister,” he added.
