Digital Desk: Guru Shri Tejashree Talukdar runs the Nritya Jyoti Nrityanusthan, a famous cultural dance institution in Guwahati. Tejashree is a well-known Sattriya and Creative dancer, choreographer, and Sattriya and Semi-classical dance instructor. She was also the winner of "Sambhavana," a Dance Reality Show.
Under the direction of Guru Tejashree Talukdar, the Dance School now has around 100 students.
After a two-year hiatus due to the COVID, the School's Annual Function was hosted on Saturday at Madhavdeva International Auditorium in Kalakshetra. MP Pabitra Margherita officiated at the event, which was attended by a number of notable figures. The event began with Pabitra Margherita lighting the lamp, which was followed by a Bandana. The annual function drew a large gathering, with the auditorium fully packed.
There were various dance performances as well as an award and commendation ceremony at the event.

Tejashree Talukdar, who is the Guru of the Dance School, received a first-class first position in Performing Arts in her Masters. Tejashree told Prag News that she was pleased with the success of her event and that she enjoys teaching dance and has always wanted to be a Sattriya Dance instructor. She expressed her passion for dancing, drama, and music. "Many young talents wish to master the profession but are unable to do so owing to a lack of funds. I make it a point to teach them and provide them with opportunities to learn and grow "she added.
