Bhadreshwar Boro's wish, coupled with his family's support, facilitated the eye donation process following his passing at the Gauhati Medical College Hospital. His noble gesture has earned the admiration of many.

Just three months ago, Bhadreshwar Boro, a resident of Niribili Old Age Home in Mangaldoi, was enjoying his days alongside fellow residents. However, on May 7th, he unexpectedly fell ill due to high blood pressure.

Initially admitted to Mangaldoi Civil Hospital by the old age home's secretary, Vinay Sharma, Bhadreshwar Boro was later transferred to Gauhati Medical College Hospital on medical advice. Tragically, he passed away on Friday afternoon during treatment.

A few days prior, the Darrang District Legal Services Authority had organized an eye check-up camp at the old age home, raising awareness about eye donation among residents. Bhadreshwar Boro was deeply moved by this initiative.

Thus, in a beautiful culmination of his inspiration, Bhadreshwar Boro generously donated his eyes upon his passing, continuing to spread light and hope even beyond his lifetime.
