Dibrugarh : To woo voters ahead of general elections, many political parties are shedding their “status quo” look and putting in all efforts to give their best shot to attract voters.
While high voltage electioneering is going on in full swing in all the 14 parliamentary constituencies, Dibrugarh MP Rameswar Teli went an extra mile to take part in BJP’s star campaigner Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s poll rally. Pulling the crowd’s attention, the Dibrugarh MP reached the venue of the Prime Minister’s campaign rally at Moran’s Polo Field riding on a bicycle.
It may be mentioned that post-BJP national president Amit Shah’s campaign in Kaliabor and Jorhat constituencies, Modi will visit Assam to drum up support for the party’s two candidates – Pallab Lochan Das (Tezpur) and Teli (Moran).
Meanwhile, Tingkhong MLA Bimal Borah too arrived at the campaign venue riding a tractor. Ahead of Modi’s visit to the state, the BJP workers on march 30th, 2019 took out a massive tractor rally from Tingkhong’s Bamunibari. Both the party leaders exuded the confidence of winning the Dibrugarh seat.
