The three rhino statues created from rhino horn ashes, according to Chief Conservator of Forests M.K. Yadav, will be this year's top tourist attraction.
According to Yadav, the statues were crafted using the ashes of rhino horns that were burned in 2021. The statues will be finished in a week, and the authorities anticipate that more tourists will come this year as a result.
One of the most serious environmental problems in India is rhino poaching, which still occurs in the Assam grasslands near Kaziranga National Park, Manas National Park, and other national parks.
Assam has the biggest population of one-horned rhinos in India, with 2,657 rhinos. Kaziranga National Park has 2,413 rhinos, Manas National Park has 43, Orang National Park has 101, and Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary has 100 Rhinos.
