ULFA cadres have been suffering from severe food shortages in their camp.
Digital Desk: On Tuesday, Margherita, another ULFA cadre has surrendered following the earlier surrender of the notorious militant leader, Arunjay Borah. Chanka Munda also decided to surrender to the Army forces at Pengeri. The militant leader also goes by the name Raja Munda.
As per reports, the handing over of a grenade to Army forces by one of the surrendering members surprised the Army. The surrendered cadre belongs to the Bordumcha Police Station area where Talpathar stands as his location. Security forces at Pengeri Army have provided Margherita police with information about the surrendered operative while carrying out the questioning process.
The investigation is currently being carried out and authorities expect it to produce accurate investigation results in due time. After the militants lost their faith in ULFA they chose to abandon their association with the organization to return to their roots. The family members of Arunjay Borah report that the ULFA cadres struggle with severe food shortages while residing in their camp.
