The iconic Cricket World Cup trophy has taken centre stage at South Point School in Barsapara on September 13. Sport enthusiasts and fans can see the trophy in person at the venue.
In June of this year, the historic trip for the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023 trophy began. Following its stunning debut, the trophy descended to the Narendra Modi venue in Ahmedabad, the biggest cricket venue in the world, from a height of 1,20,000 feet above the earth.
The trophy was unveiled in the presence of ACA President Taranga Gogoi, ACA Secretary Tridip Konwar, and Joint Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Devajit Lon Saikia.
It is to be noted that the men's ICC World Cup is set to begin on October 5.
