India will face Zimbabwe on Sunday in their final group encounter at the Melbourne Cricket Ground...
Digital Desk: Team India arrived in Melbourne from Adelaide on Friday ahead of their final T20 World Cup Super 12 encounter against Zimbabwe. The fans in Adelaide gave the squad a rousing send-off, with some carrying signs with birthday greetings for Virat Kohli printed on them.
India began their T20 World Cup campaign with a four-wicket victory over archrival Pakistan.
India's legendary player finished unbeaten on 82 off 53 balls, describing it as his best T20 innings.
"It's a strange environment." I'm at a loss for words. "I'm not sure how that happened," Kohli added.
India's dramatic and nail-biting win over Bangladesh has advanced them to the top of the group with six points from four games, and they are now well-positioned to win the group if they defeat Zimbabwe in their last encounter.
Other results, on the other hand, will determine Pakistan's chances of reaching the semi-finals. If the Netherlands or Zimbabwe defeat South Africa or India, respectively, Babar Azam's men will have a chance. But, first and foremost, they must win their game against Bangladesh.
