Digital Desk: Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf snapped at a reporter after being questioned about the lack of aggression displayed by the Pakistan cricket team during their matches against India. In a news conference held prior to the team's departure for India, Rauf responded to queries by saying that the team would instead be playing a cricket match rather than waging war on India.

A shoulder injury prevented Rauf from playing in Pakistan's final Super 4 match during the Asia Cup 2023. Rauf emphasised that he was ready to compete in the 2023 World Cup and was in excellent physical condition.
A significant deal is being selected to represent your nation in any competition. I've improved in my physical condition. Collectively, we have faith in our abilities. Regarding my possession of the new ball or the old ball, the team management will make that decision," Rauf stated.
"For the World Cup, I have no predetermined objectives. Performance of the team is prioritised over the performance of the individual," he added.
Pakistan has suffered a massive injury blow after Naseem Shah who has been ruled out of the entire tournament. When put to the test against India in the Super 4 round of the Asia Cup 2023, Pakistan's batting line struggled miserably.
