Digital Desk: The FIH Hockey Men's Junior World Cup Malaysia 2023 is now underway. In their third match, the Indian Junior Men's Hockey Team defeated Canada 10-1 to claim victory. The game was played on Saturday at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur's National Hockey Stadium.

India's goal scorers were: Vishnukant (42'), Rajinder (42'), Aditya Arjun Lalage (8', 43'), Rohit (12', 55'), Amandeep Lakra (23', 51'), Kushwaha Sourabh Anand (51'), and Uttam Singh (58'). Jude Nicholson (20') scored the only goal for Canada.
India used an aggressive strategy from the outset of the game, greatly taxing Canada's defense. India's persistent offensive paid off when 8'' Aditya Arjun Lalage scored an incredible field goal to give his team a 1-0 lead. India's lead was increased to 4-1 in the 42nd minute thanks to a spectacular field goal by Vishnukant Singh. India now led 5-1 after another goal from Rajinder Singh in the same minute. Aditya Arjun Lalage's second goal of the game in the last seconds of the quarter gave India a 6-1 advantage.
Just 15 minutes remained, and India was going all out to attack Canada. Anand, Amandeep Lakra, and Rohit added three more goals to make it 9-1 in favour of India, demonstrating the effectiveness of their relentless offensive tactics. 10-1 was the final score after a goal from captain Uttam Singh gave India the win in the last two minutes.
