IPL 2023 CSK vs GT: IPL Final Reserve Day; Will the Rain ruin it again?
The CSK vs GT IPL 2023 final has been rescheduled for May 29, but here's what happens if the Reserve Day...

Digital Desk: On May 28, Ahmedabad witnessed an impressive crowd at Narendra Modi Stadium with a big number of CSK (Chennai Super Kings) club supporters, however, yesterday, god's desire was something different as the IPL final got a reserve day for the first time in IPL history, and the game was moved to May 29, Monday.

Because of poor weather, the CSK vs GT IPL 2023 final was rescheduled for Monday.

As a result, the championship game between Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will be contested at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Monday.

With the weather prediction not looking positive for the final on Sunday, things only got worse for the supporters who had come to crowd the house.

In addition, the tournament rules stated that the IPL final will have a reserve day.

If the weather remains the same, a 5-over-par match is possible. Even if that is not possible, a Super Over can be performed. In the most unusual of circumstances, the team atop the league table will be considered the winner.

    Ahmedabad Monday's weather forecast

A thunderstorm is forecast for about 5 PM IST, although, unlike yesterday, it is not expected to persist long.

However, if the reserved day is similarly constrained by weather circumstances or is rained out, the club that finishes first after the league round wins the championship.

However, there are no rain forecasts for Monday, which implies that a 20-20 overmatch is entirely possible, reported as per sources.

Gujarat Titans, the defending champions, had topped the points table after the 70-match league round, finishing as the only team to have won 10 of 14 matches and 20 points. Chennai Super Kings came in second place with 17 points.
