Digital Desk: The Indian Trio team of Manu Bhaker, S Esha Singh, and Rhythm Sangwan won gold in the women's 25m Pistol team event at the Asian Games held in Hangzhou, China, on Wednesday.
India received a total score of 1759, narrowly defeating China, who received the silver medal with a score of 1756. The Republic of Korea won the bronze medal with a score of 1742. Manu performed admirably throughout the qualification round, topping the charts with a score of 590.
Esha performing commendably, finishes in sixth with a score of 586. Rhythm was disqualified from the finals despite having a strong score of 583 since there can only be two shooters from each nation. Esha placed sixth, Manu came in first, and Rhythm Sangwan came in seventh.
