Before their successful campaigns in these events, the Indian women's team was ranked eighth globally. However, their bronze medal win at the Asian Games and a dominant title victory at the Asian Champions Trophy in Ranchi, where they remained unbeaten, catapulted them back to their best-ever world ranking, a position they last held during the FIH Pro League in June last year.
The current top five teams in the world remain unchanged, with the Netherlands leading the pack at 3422.40 points, followed by Australia, Argentina, Belgium, and Germany.
