    Preity Zinta's co-owned 'Punjab Kings' to get new IPL anthem

    Mumbai: Ahead of resuming the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021, actress Preity Zinta shared that her team Punjab Kings is about to get a new anthem.





    As per sources, the anthem has been composed by Sajid Khan and sung by Mika Singh. The previous anthem, 'Dhoom Punjabi' of Punjab Kings, was sung by Mika's elder brother Daler Mehndi.





    On Tuesday, the actress took her Instagram, and it reads, "#AboutLastNight Super excited that the new Punjab Kings anthem is finally done. Cannot wait for everyone to hear it. Thank you @thesajidwajid , Mika, and everyone at @taaleemmusic for making it happen #JhoomPunjabi #PunjabKings #saddapunjab @iplt20."





    Indian rapper Mika Singh has additionally updated his fans concerning the new anthem.





    Mika posted, "Recording the most influential song of the year for my lovely friend @realpz. Composed by none other than the super talented, the one and only @thesajidwajid. Guys be ready for the @iplt20 #punjabkings." 





    Besides the news regarding the forthcoming anthem, Preity and Mika have uploaded a video showcasing Pretty and Mika sitting at a recording studio.





    IPL 2021 is programmed to return with its Phase 2 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), commencing September 19.
