    Pune based Doctor makes India proud in Asian Classic and Benchpress Powerlifting Competition

    Digital Desk: Indian powerlifter Dr. Sharwari Inamdar created history with a stellar performance at the Asian Classic and Benchpress Powerlifting competition held in Istanbul. She won a total of 5 medals making India proud at the competition. 





    The Asian Classic and Bench Press Powerlifting Championship are organized by the Asian Powerlifting Federation in collaboration with the Turkish Powerlifting Federation. Powerlifting athletes from 20 countries participated in this edition of the competition.





    Sharwari won all five gold medals in the 57 kg Open category. He won three gold medals in the classic powerlifting category by lifting 130 kg in squat, 70 kg in the bench press, and 150 kg in the deadlift.

    She lifted 350 kg in squats, bench presses and deadlifts, which earned him another gold medal. She also won the fifth gold medal in the classic bench press champion by lifting 70 kg.





    Dr. Sharwari Inamdar from Pune is an MD in Ayurveda. At the same time, she takes great care of her fitness. Over the years, Dr. Sharwari has developed a special routine for exercise and her diet and follows it regularly.
