New Delhi: Team India’s loss in the crucial match against New Zealand after their dismal performance against arch rival Pakistan has angered fans across the country. People have also started raising questions on the competency of Kohli as a team leader.
Even politicians in the country are demanding answers from Kohli and co. On Tuesday, popular Congress leader and member of parliament Shashi Tharoor too expressed his frustration over the team’s poor show in the T-20 World Cup so far.
Tharoor has sought examination from captain Kohli and wants to know the reasons behind the big defeat in the hands the Black Caps.
Taking on to Twitter, Tharoor said, it is ok to lose, people of this country have always supported them, however, the team disappointed everyone by failing to put up any fight.

“We have adored them, applauded them, admired them & awarded them. We don't mind their losing but we do mind their not even putting up a fight. The captain needn't tell us what went wrong (we could see that for ourselves); he needs to tell us WHY!”, Tharoor said.
India’s loss against the Kiwis came after the massive loss against arch rivals Pakistan. This was the first occasion when India lost to Pakistan in a world cup match. Mathematically, India can still qualify for the semifinals, however, it looks difficult as the team has not won a single match till now. It also depends on the performances of other teams.
India has to win in all their upcoming matches scheduled against Afghanistan, Scotland and Namibia to keep their semis hopes alive.
