Asia Cup 2023: Will rain disrupt final Super 4 match between India vs Bangladesh; Changes made in both teams; See here

On Friday, India will face Bangladesh in the final Super 4 match of the Asia Cup 2023...

Digital Desk: India's cricket team secured a spot in the 2023 Asia Cup final, making it the first to qualify. This happened when they won against Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage on Tuesday. They will face Sri Lanka again in the final after Sri Lanka won a crucial match against Pakistan on Thursday night.

Before the final match, India must play against Bangladesh in the Super 4, even though Bangladesh has already been eliminated from the tournament.

Bangladesh were the first team eliminated in the second round, following losses to Pakistan and Sri Lanka last week. Shakib Al Hasan's men, on the other hand, will look to finish the season on a high note, drawing inspiration from their 2-1 victory over India in the home ODI series last year.

The unstable weather in Colombo has been a major source of concern during the Asia Cup event. The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) initially discussed moving the Super 4 matches to Hambantota, but the decision was ultimately made to stick to the original schedule.

With a 65 percent possibility of rain forecasted for forthcoming India vs. Bangladesh match, the weather forecast provides yet another problem. Thunderstorms are likely in the morning and afternoon, with cloud cover expected to reach 90%.

Bangladesh will play without Mushfiqur Rahim for the Asia Cup's final Super 4 match.

Whereas, in the Indian Squad Suryakumar Yadav, will replace Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer will replace KL Rahul, while Mohammed Shami will replace Jasprit Bumrah.

With the team already in the final, the management decided to rest a few players to keep them fresh for the title match on September 17.
