New Delhi : Kabir Nath, a boy of Assamese parentage has scripted history by becoming the first Indian to play at the Spanish football league. He has signed agreement with a third division football club of Spain very recently.
CD OLYMPIC DE XATIVA, the Spanish 3rd division club with which Kabir has signed is highly optimistic about his performance. He has been playing in Spain for the last four years.
In fact Kabir has earned a hat-trick in a match at the State level competition in the European country. If he progresses well he could even play in the highest Spanish League where contemporary greats like Messi and Ronaldo are seen in action.
Kabir a 19 year old lad, is the son of physicist couple Dr. Kalpajit Nath and Dr. Geeta Baruah Nath from Assam based in Delhi. His dream is to play at La Liga as well as playing for his country of birth.
