    Pujara was also impressive in the ongoing County Championship. The right-handed batter scored 1,094 runs in 13 innings, for an average of 109.40 in eight games. His best individual score is 231 and he has over 500 points in the tournament so far.


    Pujara is currently ranked second in both tournaments' batting charts.


    Meanwhile, Pujara's knock contributed to Sussex's massive 378/6 in 50 overs against Surrey. Surrey responded by being bundled out for 162, handing their opponent a resounding 216-run victory.
